Maxalchemy is a family-owned small business proudly based in Hayward, California. We were born during the pandemic in 2020, inspired by resilience, community and the rich flavors of the Filipino culture that thrives throughout the Bay Area. What started as a passion for sharing home-style food, quickly grew into a business built on family values, hard work and love for great cooking.

We are known for serving "the best barbecue in the Bay"- from our juicy and tender grilled chicken barbecue, flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly (liempo) barbecue and fall-off-the-bone pork ribs barbecue. One of our crowd favorites is also our crispy, garlic shrimp halaboss. We make the best seller food that keeps our customers coming back for more.

My name is Max, but my friends and family call me Miko (Meekoh). Flipping meat in the grill isn't just my job, it's my favorite obsession. Food is my craft, and Filipino-Style barbecue is my specialty- served with pride and flavor in every bite.
